Who is the king? Links. Then who is the queen? Content of course.

You’ve probably heard the old phrase content is king you know?  There has been a lot of questionable material being offered to people and I am offering you a way to avoid the whole mess.

I realize this report isn’t exactly what you’ve heard before, however it is factual.  I cannot tell you which sites these were, since they aren’t mine to divulge.  But I will tell you why, based on facts that I have learned, one way links are more important than site content.

Here’s the deal I have recently started working for a new client because their pages couldn’t seem to get to the first page of Google so I took the challenge and went to work for them.

The first page I read made me wonder why it was even there.  The pages were ill-written, nasty and lacked clarity. It seems that some one who does not know  English has ventured it.  There were even hints and some evidence pointing to some of the content being created by a cheap and crappy version of an article spinner and maybe even a free spinner.

Due to poor keyword research by the previous SEO guy many of these pages were attempting to compete for very competitive keywords.

A 5 year old could do this good even with only a free article spinner he got in 2 minutes off of download com.

The internal site structure was mixed up, the internal links had errors like ‘home’ as anchor text, the sitemap was missing, and you don’t even want to know what was coming in from other sites.

This is what seems to be clear from the results and that is if content was king then there is no way that Google should be showing those pages on the first page of any search.  I went on with my study and research. I will tell you about my finding.

No matter whether they are from low quality websites, all had links to their domain.  So then I looked at their sites that couldn’t make it to the first page of Google and found the Same non-English content but NO LINKS.

So basically I just reverse engineered all the links from those pages which were ranking and pointed links from those domains to the pages my client had which weren’t ranking and sure enough there rankings climbed.

I wanted to get fast results so I could prove to them I could handle getting quality links of power so that their sites would remain showing up with first page rankings.

They’ve entrusted their SEO needs to me, and I’ve found that the best way to maximize seo using web 2.0 marketing blog tactics with lots of links.
