How a Search Engine Works
Understanding the way Search Engines work, is critical to the success of your internet business. Why do people think that they can open a store in the wilderness, and expect a rush of customers?
That is what many beginners on the Internet do. They are under the mis-conception, that “If they build it, they will come” and so they sit in the wilderness and can’t figure out why only a couple of people stumble into their business.
If you are one of those pioneers that have braved the wilderness to establish your business, or if you are a business owner that wants more targeted traffic, then this book, will provide you the critical elements that you need to drive target traffic to your sites.
If you will JUST apply the basics of what I teach you in this book, it will take your business to the next level of business and beyond, but let me emphasize, that I do not cover the advanced techniques you will need to make your business explode into the stratosphere. You will need to purchase my Advanced SEO Handbook, or get further education.

“Understanding the way Search Engines work, is critical to the success of your Internet business”, and I have said this before gj.
It is the search engines that bring your website to the notice of the prospective customers. It is the search engines that provides the equivalence of thousands of signs along the trails to tell people where you are at and how to get there.
When a user enters a topic in their search box, the search engine kicks into gear instantly. The search engine immediately sifts through the millions of web pages, articles, Social media posts, videos, and other miscellaneous pages on the web that have been indexed and returns the data that is the most relevant to the topic the user entered. popularity and relevancy are only second to the relevancy of the returned search data. No one really knows all the variables of the algorithm’s that accomplish this task, there are some basic factors that have become common knowledge to those in the know.
Unless you have been under a rock for the last 10 years, you already know that Google owns the world!! He ha he ha.. Seriously, Google does control most of the web universe and so it is looked upon as the master, and the Google search engine is the most important to understand, and they set the standards bar for the other search engines to reach.
Understanding Google’s perspective and what they are trying to accomplish, is the key to maximizing the power of the Search Engines and the techniques you use to reach the page rankings that you are after.
What is Googles main theme. What are they trying to accomplish/ What is their main objective? SEO experts in the world, will tell you that Google's main priority is to provide relevant data to its users, and have designed algoritms to provide a superior user experience. The priority of Google is to always provide the user with relevant data and a superior user experiencee.
Knowing that it only makes sense to concentrate your efforts on SEO techniques that work under all conditions. I think you should approach SEO like you would buy a Brooks Brother’s suit. Let me explain How a Brooks brother suit applies, if you are not familiar with them. When you buy a Brooks Bother’s suit, you know a couple of things:
1. If you follow my advise, your efforts will still work today, tommorrow, next year, decades from now
2. It miight require adjustment from time to time, but the core will still be in style well into the future
3. Your efforts will alwasy be in style.
You will see and hear all types of fad SEO techniques, many are called Black hat. Why would you use black Hat techniques, when Google could penalize you for months for using them.
Take my advise, and do not ever wear the Black hat. Put on the White hat, be patient, and enjoy your efforts for years to come, without looking over your shoulders.
A prospective user will usually not proceed past the first three pages of google, so if you are not on page 1, 2 or 3.. you are out dead to the user. It is a critical long term goal to reach page 1 through consistent and persistent effort on your major keywords.
With proper planning, you can reach page 1 on some of your keywords within a month, another set of keywords in 3 months, yet another more popular set of keywords in 6 months, and even if it takes you 2 years to reach page 1 for the most popular keywords, this effort will pay off with rewards beyond your imagination with 10’s, if not 100’s of thousands of Free visitors each and every month.
Now, I will be talking a lot about Google and I want to make sure that you understand that there are 100’s of search engines, but Google is the grand Daddy of them all. Of all the traffic methods, none compare to the traffic that is possible from the 1st tier search engines.
So even though I refer to Google heavily, the way the search engines work and their algorithms are different and your traffic will depend on which search engines the customers use and how they rank your site.
Part 2 will cover the rest….
