The Greatest Myth About Content Revealed

Have you heard the saying, “Content is King”? Well, I’m about to blow that myth right out of the water. Here’s another thought that you’ve probably heard online. In order to rank well you need to have fresh content. There are so many different thoughts on how content will affect the way Google ranks the page or the entire website.

There are plenty of ways to drive traffic to your website, but free traffic from the most used search engine like Google is the one that receives the most attention. This is why people focus so much attention on content within their website.

Another thing people focus on is on-site SEO. This too is something that is extremely valuable. Yet, what if all the things you have learned have been lies or let’s not say lies, let’s say these things have been sort of misrepresented.

Let me explain.

What you have on your website should be exactly what your visitors want, not exactly what the search engines algarythem’s are looking for. If you are considering how to fulfill your visitors needs, then you will be way ahead of the game.

When you think about SEO you need to separate this thinking from how you think about your content. Having a website that contains 30 pages of content will allow you to use seo in a far greator capacity, but it does not mean you must have 30 pages in order to drive organic search engine traffic to your site.

Think about it. If you have 50 web pages full of quality content, what will you be able to do that a single page website cannot? Well, 50 pages allows you to rank hundreds of keyword search terms whereas a single page of content will allow you to rank well for perhaps just a few keyword search terms.

But the question still remains. If your website has no content, as in an article, 300 words more or less, will you still be able to rank it on the first page in Google? Watch the video and you will see how I was able to rank a local business website with only a tiny bit of help from the actual site itself. You’ll be quite surprised at what you learn.
